Eclipse Pattern Control System Product Launch
Nordson, the world's leading packaging industry supplier, traditionally launches new products to its worldwide base of sales and technical representatives by shipping "advanced prototypes" along with user guides and documentation to each of them. The carrier costs and risk for shipping thousands of small-to-midsize machines is prohibitive and the chance of competitor awareness increases.
A package of products was designed to show the advanced nature of the Eclipse Series, while demonstrating the simplicity of its use. Using 2D- and 3D-animation to show detailed application examples, voice-annotated software scenarios, interactive order forms and role-play, the sales CD-ROM was the focal point of the package. Its purpose was to deliver refreshing and easy-to-use training in place of expensive "advanced prototypes."
In addition, the product was supported with it's own touch-screen kiosk at trade-shows.
