Custom Development Services: Process
Planning and implementing a custom eLearning system from scratch is a major undertaking. Without a consistent strategy and an established process to give the project direction it can be an overwhelming task. At PTi we've developed a process that we think makes designing and deploying an eLearning solution as painless and uncomplicated as possible for our clients.
We start every project by spending time listening to our client, and learning about the company's needs, situation and industry. Collecting this background information is vital for an understanding of how we can best help the client achieve their business goals.
The next step in the process is to create a concept for a solution, tailored to meet the client's needs. We present this concept to the client in a detailed proposal along with a blueprint for the solution.
When the client is satisfied with the concept our design team begins to build test solutions. The client works with us to test the solution and to improve the design.
With the client's approval on the design, we build the complete solution. This step involves collecting content, reformatting external content, programming and quality testing the solution.
After the client approves the complete product, PTi helps them to deploy the solution via the INTERNET, INTRANET, CD-ROM, or any other viable delivery method.
PTi always reviews the solution after deployment. We are available to advance, improve or adapt the solution for a new user or market situation at any time. We view this follow-up on an executed solution as an essential step in the process.
