Example of SEO Impact on Traffic or How to Save Over $12,000 in Pay Per Click Each Year.

The chart on the left shows the impact of pay per click (green bar) and then of optimization (orange bars). The site went online in January 2003. During the first year, given that no web marketing dollars were spent, the website attracted very little visitors, with about 60 to 110 visits each month (see blue bars in chart).

In May 2004, the client decided to opt for pay per click advertising. The traffic went up dramatically thanks to the pay per click system in place (see green bar in chart below).
